Ila taught in the following schools ----
1928-29 Speech throughout Iowa
1931-32 English Dunkerton, IA
Ila taught 7th & 8th grade Language Arts and Declam from 1955 to 1961 in Manning.
She taught High School English and Remedial Reading from 1961 to 1972 at Manning High School.
Ila came out of retirement for the second semester during the 1972-73 year filling in for Thomas Wilde who resigned mid-term.
