Dan and Donna Arp were married on
August 28, 1982, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Defiance, Iowa. Daniel Lee, born January 27, 1955, is the son of Norman and Jean (Henkelman) Arp,
and Donna Catherine, born April 15, 1959 is the daughter of Donald and Judith (Boeck) Schaben. Dan grew up in Manning with his sisters and
brother: Norma (Hagedorn), Cathy (Tigges) and Marc Arp. Ancestral names are Schechinger, Henkelman, Passick and Arp. Donna grew up in
Defiance, Iowa, with sisters and brother: Gwen (Jahn), Brenda (Gross), Sandy (Tremel), Jaclyn (Wegner) and Bryce Schaben. Ancestral names
are Boeck, Knott, Block and Schaben.
The Arps are the parents of three children: Cory Daniel, born December 14, 1984; Kevin Daniel, born August 1, 1987; and Danielle
Catherine, born December 17, 1991. Cory was a member of the 2002 State Champion Football Team. Kevin and Danielle are involved in
school and community activities. Cory is now at Iowa State University, while Kevin and Danielle attend Manning Community School.
Dan works as a material handler at AGP in Manning. Donna works at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll as a medical transcriptionist.
