Sometimes people who contact me can help with pictures and information but sadly, most of the time, they don't have a lot of information to share - sometimes I'll have quite a bit of information for them - for others not so much.
Most of the information I have in my database has come from scanning other non-relative people's collections and not directly from a relative of a Manning family.
This afternoon (February 5, 2023) I received a call from Michael Tomek over my landline from a person whose mother recently passed away.
He gave me a number of names and said I had sent his mother information in 1998.
At first I was thinking these names were in Manning's history but after he gave me
some more names, it hit me that these were my relatives.
I finally found the Kusel branch they were in and his mother is my 3rd cousin.
So now he has offered to share old pictures and information with me. He is concerned that once he
is gone that most of these pictures and information will disappear and was hoping I would archive them in my database.
