Ed Musfeldt Writes Sunday, May 16 Dear Friends:
I want to thank you and the American Legion for the paper. I enjoy reading about the good ball teams the high school has this year and all the other news around home.

I'm stationed at Indiantown Gap which is 24 miles from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; also near all the large cities like New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, D. C. I saw the Yanks play the Brooklyn Dodgers in an exhibition game in Brooklyn.
This is a beautiful country in the spring, but not like Iowa. Sincerely,
Ed. Musfeldt.
