Funeral rites for Glenn August Rohe will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 4, at Sacred Heart Church in Manning by the Rev. Kenneth Seifried. Mr. Rohe died Saturday, July 1, 1967, at St. Anthony Hospital on his 43rd birthday anniversary after six-month's illness. His nephews will be pallbearers and burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Templeton. Military rites at the graveside will be conducted by the Manning American Legion Post, of which he was a member. The body is lying at the Ohde Funeral Home until time of services. Rosaries were recited at 3 and 8 p.m. Sunday and will be held at 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Mr. Rohe was born July 1, 1924, near Templeton, son of Walter and Ella (Sibbel) Rohe. He attended school at Templeton. He served overseas during World War II.

He was married September 16, 1947, to Mildred Venteicher at St. Mary's Church, Willey. Since then they have farmed three miles east and one mile south of Manning.

Survivors are his wife; eight sons, all at home: Dennis, David, Donald, Dale, Douglas, Daniel, Dean, and Darwin; his parents, and four brothers, Vernon Rohe and Gene Rohe of Manning, Norbert Rohe of Carroll and Wayne Rohe of Templeton.
