Pungo Field, Va.
Once more I wish to thank you and the Legion for sending it, I get a lot of home news as
well as keeping track of the other "Boys" in service. Through you I wish to tell them all
hello and I always keep looking for someone from home. Maybe someday I will.
We are getting new planes now and getting them rigged up with a lot of new gear. Don't
know which way I'll take off next time, west or, east, but it looks more and more' everyday
that it may be the, Pacific. Manning Monitor article------ 1945
Bill Ramsey Acknowledges Greetings
Was in New York City some I time ago and went to a couple of pro football games.
Now I see I why they get paid. A guy wouldn't be normal to hit and get hit like they do for
nothing. At the half; at both games I saw, I met Amos Misselhorn and we shot the breeze
for quite a while.
Am in the same outfit, duty and stuff, as before, but can't say anything about it.
Hope to drop in for a personal visit sometime in the near future. Best regards to everyone
I know in the service and to the "32" gang in particular. Hope we can all get home for good soon.
I really appreciate the efforts of you and the Legion, in sending the paper. Returns Home After 105 Combat Missions William W. Ramsey, 29, A. R.1-c, USNR, husband of the former Florence L.
