Jim Capdevielle is a friend of mine, for whom I am doing this research.

Jim tells me that he heard from his grandmother(Jessie Eva) that her father was a prisoner at Andersonville. Yet when Jim visited the prison a few years ago, he searched the database and found no record. He did not know the first name nor the proper spelling of the surname.

So, the Andersonville episode remains a mystery.

The Joseph and Elsie buried in Manning are Jim's parents---and that his his baptism in 1945.

I will continue to search for a confirmation that a prisoner at Andersonville, named Dunnick, returned to Manning after release.

I will keep you posted.
