Kock is more of a West Side & Vail area name which is north of Manning.

The West Side Centennial book listed a John Kock Sr. (born 1894 in Carroll County) married Katie and they raised a family north of Vail.

William Kock (born 1886) married Bena Auen (born 1891) and they lived north of West Side.

There are no Kock or Gruber names in the Manning Cemetery.

There are Kocks buried in the Arcadia, Carroll and Lidderdale township cemetery.
