Hello Rickman,

These are the Flenkers buried in the Manning Cemetery.
Louis Flenker 1888 - 1941
Anna Flenker September 28, 1847 - August 11, 1938
Claus H. Flenker August 21, 1844 - November 21, 1923
Charles H. Flenker December 31, 1877 - September 27, 1941
Anna A. Flenker June 5, 1880 to September 27, 1941
Henry Flenker February 5, 1906 - February 13, 1906

In the 1981 Manning Centennial history book Heinrich Flenker is listed as one of about 60 founders of the Five Mile House Hayes Township Schuetzen Verein located about 6 miles northwest of Manning which organized in 1883.

There are only 2 Flenker obituaries on my Memorial web page.

I searched my database of the Manning Monitor newspaper microfilm and I did not find Flenker names you are looking for. I may find them once I go through the microfilm again next year.

Since one branch of the Flenker family married into the Grau part of my family I'll ask a cousin, who is more closely related to those Flenkers, to see if she can help you.

Keep in touch as I may find more information in the future.

For now I'm working on the Manning school history book and won't have time to do any more resarch on the Flenker name until mid 2010.

Thanks
Dave Kusel
